"Mohana has been responsible for systematically building our grassroots power by engaging and growing our membership base, which she has done with creativity and tenacity. This work requires one to be highly organized, personable, and communicative — all of which Mohana excels at. Additionally, Mohana has the unique ability to break down complex issues into something approachable and mobilizing.

As Senior Organizer, she consistently showed strong initiative that has enabled her to take on critical projects for the organization — such as our Georgia US Senate runoff campaigns — from campaign plan to execution, expertly managing team members across departments and on the ground. She’s also been an asset to our organization by keeping a solutions-oriented eye toward streamlining and optimizing our internal systems, and joining workgroups and committees toward bettering our organization. Given her good work, I recommended her for a promotion less than a year later, this time to cover more states as Southeast Regional Organizing Manager. We’re grateful Mohana joined our team at such a critical time for the fight for reproductive freedom and the fight to move Georgia forward!”

Laura Simmons

Former Southeast Regional Campaigns Director
Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America)

“Mohana began at NARAL as an organizer and I immediately saw that she would bring so much to our team and that was capable of managing much more responsibility. Though she worked in an extremely understaffed state, her region was my top most performing team and that was no doubt because of Mohaha’s leadership. Mohana has a deeply inquisitive and critical mind and is never settled with doing just the task at hand, but is constantly asking herself what she can do better and how she can make programs smoother for herself and the people she works with. Her strategic thinking and hard work made me immediately identify her as someone who was on a path to leadership and promotion.

Mohana is incredibly well liked by her peers and her managers. She is kind, thoughtful, and always striving for the best for her team. She is calm, reliable, and dependable. If I were to build an ideal team for honestly anything, Mohana would be at the top of my list.”

About Me

About Me

For more than eight years, I’ve worked at the intersection of grassroots and electoral organizing, digital communications, and nonprofit advocacy to help organizations tell powerful stories, mobilize supporters, and drive systemic change.

From managing media relations and communications strategy for national nonprofits to leading state voter outreach campaigns, I’ve advocated for progressive policies, built coalitions, designed digital fundraising, advocacy, and organizing campaigns, and trained the next generation of movement leaders through skills workshops and collective action opportunities. I’m also well-versed in a wide range of email marketing, customer relationship management, broadcast and P2P SMS, and analytics platforms.

My work, both professional and personal, is grounded in my deep commitment to social justice. Outside of my day job, I’m often supporting culture change projects with the Atlanta Radical Art Collective, making ceramics, and spending time in nature.

I’m a strong believer in the power of building movements for social change. Let’s work together!
